PFTA & Other Regulatory Compliance - Part 2 - While this course will take a deeper dive into PFTA, attending part 1 is not required to attend part 2. If you would like to view part 1 prior to part two, you are welcome to request the recording by emailing education at education@ilbigi.org.  Please note that you are NOT able to receive CE by watching the recording of part 1, it would be for information only.

If your agency collects and deposits premiums, this course is a must take. The premium fund trust account leads to many regulatory violations which could lead to fines and even the loss of your license. This course will help you to understand the procedures that will ensure that you can comply with laws and regulations that govern the premium fund trust account. At the very least be able to see if you are doing things correctly (I bet you are not). Join Brett Gerger who performed hundreds of exams over 20+ years with the Department of Insurance, and he will impart his vast knowledge on you and your agency.

Brett has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry as a regulator. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield and in 2021 earned his CIC designation.

Brett currently serves as the Director of Education & Agency Resources with the Big I Illinois.
