Earn 6 hours of General Illinois CE credit and 1 hour of Ethics credit

This course helps make you an indispensable team player in any insurance agency. As you work with colleagues and customers, you will do so with enhanced self-assurance and a greater understanding of the dynamics within insurance organizations. Also, understanding how agencies operate is essential training for both insurance agency and company personnel.

Topics Include: Legal & Ethical Requirements, The Insurance Agency, The Insurance Industry and Marketplace, Communication, Agency Workflow, Account Management, Errors & Omissions

**Exam is NOT required for CE credit.**

The virtual classes will count for both state CE and designation credit. The exam requirements remain the same and the exam is only required for those pursuing a new designation.
For those taking the exam, you will do so online. The exam window will be open beginning at 4:15 p.m. the day of the class through Thursday at 11:59 p.m. CT the week following the class. Specific instructions on the exam including proctoring of the exam, and completion information will be distributed during the course.

Alisa started her career in commercial lines back in 1994 and has worked in System Administrative roles as well as Operations to satisfy her love of efficiency and compliance. Seven years of consulting for agencies in system training, conversions, Best Practice workflows/procedures, and efficiencies, gave Alisa a broadened experience to all shapes and sizes of agencies with all types of niches. She has literally worked with hundreds of agencies preparing or recovering from a system conversion and trying to fully utilize the agency management system in an efficient manner. She is currently the Quality Assurance and Training Manager for the commercial lines department at Marsh McLennan Agency-St Louis.

Starting in 2003, Alisa began training for the NetVU User Group regional and national educational events, including classes for the NetVU Certificate of Insurance Accounting designation (NcIA). Being an insurance and compliance nerd, Alisa also teaches for various states' IIA CE courses. She has served on Vertafore R & D teams, ACT Workgroups, Acord Workgroups as well as an AUGIE Ambassador. Recently Alisa was asked to be a subject matter expert in updating the Minnesota Property & Casualty licensing exam.

Alisa earned her CIC designation in 2004 and her CRM designation in 2009. She is passionate about insurance knowledge and mastering the tools to maximize that knowledge, making agencies more profitable and staff more efficient and fulfilled. Teaching for the National Alliance pulls all that together to share and improve agency efforts.
